Please make out your check to PAL or the Pet Assistance League. You are welcome to dedicate your donation to a two- or four-legged friend. Your donations are tax deductible (as specified by current tax law). The United Way Campaign and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) #7075 make it easy for you to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction programs. If your organization participates, you can contribute to PAL through the United Way and CFC. Simply complete the pledge card with the amount you would like to donate and designate PAL as the recipient. Our participant number is 7075. If you would like to donate food, blankets, toys, bowls, or other supplies, please bring contact us to make arrangements.
Food Donations
Because of your continuing donations, the Pet Assistance League is able to provide shelter and food for over thirty dogs and cats at any one time that are awaiting news that a family has been found for them. As you can imagine, that makes feeding of the animals one of the primary expenses for the Pets in our care. You can help stretch our budget by donating food to feed all our homeless pets. We appreciate & welcome any & all donations of food. If you are making a special trip out to purchase food, we'd like to ask people to purchase one of the following brands:

Pedigree canned dog food - any flavor
Friskies canned cat food - any flavor
The reason we ask for specific kinds is that we find that the more consistent we are in feeding one type of food, the better the overall health & nutrition of our pets. The quality of pet food can of course mean a healthier life for your pet. You are invited to read the quality labels on the food you choose for your pets to learn about the quality that goes into each product.
Memoriams
Unfortunately not all animals find new homes. It takes hard work, sometimes a little luck, and always the generosity of our friends to feed, care for and find homes for our abused, neglected and abandoned friends. Please help us in our mission and save a life today! We are often asked if we can accept donations in someone's memory or honor, or if we can accept a donation for a particular event such as a birthday, anniversary, baby naming, etc., or if we can accept a donation as a gift for someone who has everything, all to help save the animals. We are delighted to receive such donations. As part of such a donation we will send you a receipt and send an appropriate donation acknowledgment to whomever you designate. As you create or review your estate plan please consider making the the Pet Assistance League a part of your plan. You might want to consider donating appreciated securities to PAL. Donating appreciated securities can reduce your year end's income tax liability.
